Leland football team earns 47-41 overtime win after trailing Alisal 34-7 in the third quarter; Chargers advance to CCS quarterfinals with win

Leland running back Lance Gemette ran for just 37 yards on 11 carries in his team’s CCS opening round playoff game on Nov. 18. Of those 37 yards, the last 10 proved to be the most pivotal for his squad.

For the fourth year, NBC11 weatherman John Farley spent the Saturday before Thanksgiving securing turkeys, bags of food and money to buy more food for a number of agencies that help feed the poor and homeless.
