Graystone celebrates Chinese New Year

Graystone Elementary School welcomed the Chinese New Year with its very own celebration complete with Lion Dancers, folk dancing and martial arts demonstrations.
“This is a great example of our diverse population,” said Graystone Principal Dave Beymer. “We have a 42 percent Asian population at the school so it only makes sense to celebrate Chinese New Year. A lot of the kids had never seen anything like this but they all like it. It’s a great experience for the students to share. Lifelong San Jose resident named new SJPD southern division captain
Captain David Cavallaro seeks to deliver high ‘quality of life’ to San Jose
