Seniors celebrate the season

Gaiety and a celebratory mood filled the air during a holiday luncheon for seniors at the Almaden Community Center this past week.
“The Almaden Rotary is so generous to do this event for us each year,” said Almaden Senior Program gerontology specialist Torie O’Reilly. “We really appreciate it and it’s a fun holiday event.”

Almaden Feed and
Fuel saved
Part of original building will become a single-family residence

If we save what we love, then a group of persevering preservationists have at least partially succeeded. Part of the historic Almaden Feed and Fuel will become a single-family home.
