Trader Joe's to move to Almaden Plaza in October 2004

Trader Joe's, located at the corner of Almaden Expressway and McAbee Road in Almaden Valley, will be relocating in early fall of 2004. Trader Joe's Manager Jonathan Thomson says the store will move about a half mile north, into the former Stroud's location at the Almaden Plaza, located on the northwest corner of Almaden Expressway and Blossom Hill Road, next to Costco. The new Trader Joe's store will then expand to more than twice the size of its present location.
