Akins Collision Center of Santa Clara announces opening of Almaden location

The owners of Akins Collision Center, Bill Rupp, AAM and Ann Saari, AAM, recently announced the opening of a second location in the Almaden Valley.

Akins Collision Center of Santa Clara opened a satellite office located at 1341 Redmond Avenue in San Jose on Dec. 8. The office will be open for estimates from 7:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening.

“We chose this location specifically for the benefit of our customers. Many of our customers travel from San Jose, Los Gatos, even as far away as Santa Cruz. They wanted the flexibility of early morning estimates and pickup after the completion of the collision repairs closer to home to avoid the traffic congestion and save time,” says Rupp after discussion with his current customers about this subject.

“Another common thread in our discussion with our customers was their desire to maximize their time. Stay at home moms (or dads in some cases), retirees and those who worked out of their home want the convenience to come in for an estimate in the middle of the day while they are about town doing errands,” comments Saari. The new office is in the Albertson’s shopping plaza on the corner of Meridian and Redmond in the Almaden Valley area of San Jose. There is a grocery store, drug store, several restaurants and coffee shops, hair salon, pet salon, bank, and other specialty businesses in the same plaza. “Our customers can visit these local merchants or just relax in our office during the estimate and scheduling process.”

Akins Collision Center has provided collision repair services to its customers in the Bay area since 1971. They work with all major insurance companies and have the latest state-of-the-art equipment. The shop is I-Car Gold Class. Their employees are trained and ASE and AMI certified.
