A tisket a tasket, teen holiday baskets a roaring success

A 300-teen holiday basket goal this year by American Association of University Women member Elaine Bunoit netted a whopping total of 937 gifts thanks to the generous community. In addition to the cellophane wrapped baskets, gym bags and red bags were overflowing with useful items for teens. Fifty to 60 volunteers (many from Almaden) gathered to prepare the baskets at Sacred Heart Community Service on Alma and First Streets.
