Unattended Death
Merrill Drive
Family members reported an unattended death. The deceased (81-year-old)
had a history of asthma, cancer, high blood pressure and other chronic
breathing problems. A friend of the family last saw her yesterday.
A doctor last saw the deceased approximately two weeks ago. The
family members found the deceased on the floor of the residence
when they went to check on her welfare.

Attempted Purse Snatch
Oakridge Parking Garage
The 39 year-old female victim was walking to her vehicle on the
4th floor of the Oakridge parking garage when a male in his 20’s
attempted to take her purse. The victim elbowed the suspect in the
nose and he fled in an unknown direction of travel on foot. Night
detectives were aware of the event.

Coroner’s Case
1300 Branham Lane.
A 46 year-old male died while suffering flu symptoms. The coroner
responded and took custody of the deceased.

Sexual Assault
Tamalpais Avenue
San Jose Police responded to the above location on the report of
a prior sexual assault. Lt. Carr was advised of the situation along
with SAIU Sgt. Quezada.
