Pet
of the Week: Cat
“Cat” was not adopted by Duane Shewaga and Delene Waltrip,
who live in Almaden Valley. Cat adopted them. “Cat”,
or “kitty” as she is known to the kids, became the neighborhood
cat of residents on Quail Creek Circle after she returned from a
mysterious one year absence. Her former owner had acquired a new
cat in the meantime and he no longer wanted Cat. Fortunately for
Cat she found a new home among the neighbors. Cat loves to eat,
sleep, eat, sleep and eat some more. Luckily, she has found many
neighbors willing to keep her tummy full. Ken and Kim Joyner, Joe
and Beverly Ellul, and Hamid and Parvin Pirahesh are neighbors who
feed, feed, and feed Cat. Cat will never have to worry about where
her next meal will come from as long as she lives on Quail Creek
Circle.
Send us an email ( Julie@timesmediainc.com
) or a letter describing your pet (name, age, breed–where
applicable) and where you obtained your pet (animal shelter, breeder,
friend, etc.) and any funny stories or interesting information about
your pet. Include your name, phone number, and the names of anyone
else in the household. If there are children in the household give
their ages too. Then send us a jpeg digital picture of your pet
or a ‘real' print through the mail.
