CRIME STOPPER OF THE WEEK
TYPE OF CRIME: Armed Robbery
On November 5 at about 7:52 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at the AM/PM located on Campbell Ave. at Fulton St in Campbell. An Armed Courier Service guard was picking up money from the above location when two Hispanic males entered the business and confronted him in the manager’s office. One of the males held the guard at gunpoint while the other took the guard’s Glock Model 17 9mm and $17,000 in cash. Both males fled Southbound on Fulton.
They were last seen getting into a newer gold Acura coupe with paper plates.
The suspects were both described as Hispanic, 5’7” to 5’9” with a medium build. Both were wearing black jackets and beanie caps.
CRIME STOPPERS is a cooperative effort between the local media, San Jose Police Department, and a citizen Board of Directors. Once a week an unsolved police case is presented to the public. Citizens are urged to call 947-STOP if they have information on any other serious crime and remain anonymous. Rewards of up to $1,000 are offered for information leading to an arrest. You do not give your name, you are given a code number.
