HSSV holds successful cat adoption weekend
Last weekend, the Humane Society Silicon Valley held a special board-sponsored cat adoption event that was a huge success. Hundreds showed up and adopted 138 animals that are now part of families. That number includes one hamster, two bunnies, two puppies, 10 dogs, 52 kittens and 71 cats! The agency also ended up helping neighboring shelters by taking in cats from them that were placed up for adoption in the HSSV facility.
Now, if you forgot and couldn’t be there, a certain cat named Tubby is looking for a home. “Can you guess my age? Most people can’t! I am an 11-year-old, beautiful black cat, with green eyes. I am past the silly kitty stage and hope to find a stable, mature household. I am quiet, enjoying a morning nibble, some cuddling and then, NAP TIME! Come see me at HSSV. ID 62518
