Body found near Boulder Ridge Golf Course
On Nov. 15, a body of a man was found above the Boulder Ridge Golf Course in the Almaden area. Santa Clara County authorities are asking the public’s help in finding the man’s identity.
The 42-year-old man is described as having short hair or a shaved head and chin stubble with a tattoo of a bull with red horns and the world “Taurus” written above. He was found shirtless, but a black T-shirt was found near his body. The T-shirt had the words “film festival” in red and “revolver” in yellow on one side and the Cinequst logo on the other.
“As of right now, it’s not being investigated as a homicide,” said San Jose Police Officer Enrique Garcia.
Anyone with information related to the death of the body is urged to contact the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office at (408) 793-1900.
Rebuilding Together is looking for clients
Rebuilding Together is a nonprofit organization that brings together communities and volunteers to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and disabled.
All work is provided at no cost to the applicant. Repair work focuses on providing warmth, safety and independence. Safety and accessibility improvements are made throughout the year and one-day large repair projects happen each April and October.

Mountain lion sighted near Graystone Elementary
A mountain lion was sighted in Almaden near Graystone Elementary School on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at about 10:30 a.m. The sighting was on Queeswood Way at Villagewood Way. A report was made to the Department of Fish and Game.
