HSSV offers cats, kittens for free

This Thanksgiving weekend, the Humane Society Silicon Valley is inviting the public to adopt a cat/kitten for free as a Thanksgiving gift to the community.

The HSSV is overflowing with cats and kittens. To encourage the community to help save a life, the board of Humane Society Silicon Valley will pay the adoption fee for any cat or kitten adopted on Friday, Nov. 28, Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30.

All animals in HSSV’s adoption program are kept until they have found a home. But because it is so full, HSSV is not able to take in as many new cats/kittens. By adopting, people will not only save the life of that cat or kitten, but create space for a new furry feline to have a second chance.

Adoption hours on Friday are 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All animals available for adoption can be viewed at www.hssv.org.
