War memories remembered

The Almaden Branch Library and Community Center hosted Wartime Memory Sharing last Saturday. Keynote speaker Don Clawson shared his recollections of serving in the U.S. Air Force in Korea and Vietnam. “Is That Something the Crew Should Know” is his self-published memoir of those experiences. Afterward, the two dozen men and women shared their experiences at home and abroad during U.S. wartime. Participants could choose to add their contributions to an online collection at www.sjlibrary.org.
