Crime Stopper of the Week
Assault
On Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 at 10 a.m., a 30-year-old woman was
attacked on the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The woman was pushing a stroller
with her baby, and was accompanied by her dog. As she walked in
the area just north of Highway 85 on the trail, a man jumped from
the bushes, grabbed her, and attempted to drag her into the bushes.
The victim screamed, which caused him to run away. The suspect is
described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, 5-feet, 6-inches tall,
slender build with close-cropped brown hair, and no facial hair.
He was wearing a white T-shirt, possibly with writing on the front,
and blue jeans.
