Pets
of the Week
Hoover and Allie Mae
Anybody who says pets don’t have distinct personalities hasn’t
met the two little inhabitants scampering around Jeanne and Clay
Lewis’ home.
Allie Mae is a 16-year-old Lhasa Apso that the Lewis family found
through the paper when she was 8-years-old. Her previous owner traveled
all the time, so they had to give her up. She loves to dig and she
sleeps with her back leg covering her eye. Despite her advanced
age, she still has plenty of bounce in her step and is quite friendly.
Hoover is an 11-year-old white male Bichon Frise, whose love of
car rides may have contributed to his current portly condition.
“He’s on a diet,” laughs Jeanne who describes
Hoover as ‘a solitary man.’ The Lewises rescued Hoover
from a home where, according to Jeanne, he was being terrorized
by two little boys with fake bows and arrows.
The two little dogs have free reign at the Lewis’ Almaden
home where they especially enjoy visits from the Lewis’ six
grandchildren.

Include your name, phone number, and the names of anyone else in the household. If there are children in the household give their ages too. Then send us a jpeg digital picture of your pet or a ‘real' print through the mail.
