“These are no longer just Antiques and Collectibles shows only,” said Princeton Plaza Show event coordinator Nada Makdissy Kennon. “We have opened our doors to all kinds of unique products of handcrafted treasures, kitchen tools and cookware, skin care, gift baskets and much, much more.”
And unique treasures will not disappoint. From handmade and antique jewelry to Tony Becker Direct gems and vintage glass and pottery as well as Pampered Chef demonstrations and many other distinctive goods, there’s something for everyone.
Kennon will present two shows, one on Nov. 11 and the other on Dec. 9 in the covered Princeton Plaza Mall. The November show will feature entertainment by Mostly Celtic. The December show will feature Jazz By Design playing from 9a.m. to 2:30 p.m., which will include a community sing-a-long. Also the Capitol Dance Company is expected to perform at 1 p.m.
The Princeton Plaza Shows will still feature antiques and collectibles and will even offer appraisals by Steven Yvaska, known for his Mercury News column “The Seasoned Collector.” He will be available from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. with a fee of $10 for the first appraised item and $5 for additional items.
For the early birds, there’s coffee and doughnuts and raffle tickets for prizes drawn at noon and 3 p.m.
But really it’s all about shopping.
“I invite all shoppers that come to our show to take some time and explore what the stores at the plaza have to offer,” said Kennon. “They will be amazed how much shopping could be done in one place while being entertained by the sound of the music and a real fun atmosphere.”
The Princeton Plaza Shows will be held Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 in the covered mall at Blossom Hill Road and Meridian Avenue from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call (408) 761-6913, e-mail alphazetaevent@sbcglobal.net or visit www.alphazetaevents.com.
