Celebrating its 40-year anniversary and this year’s theme, “The Jewels of Christmas,” the event will be held at the Hilton/Double Tree Hotel in San Jose from Nov. 27, through Nov. 30.

From a sumptuous array of designer trees laden with valuable gifts to a Macy*s fashion show and Grand Ball, this four-day extravaganza is sure to spread holiday joy.

The trees, decorated by Bay Area designers, will be awarded at the Children’s Party, Holiday Office Party and Grand Ball. The cleverly themed multimedia fashion show will be featured at the Champagne Brunch, Morning Coffees, Afternoon Teas and Holiday Office Party. The Office Party also features dinner and a silent auction.

Each child attending the Children’s Party will receive a special gift and enjoy a show, as well as a visit from Santa. The black-tie Grand Ball features a gourmet dinner, silent auction, live auction and dancing to the music of the Joe Sharino Band.

Through Christmas Tree Elegance, the Valle Monte League has raised more than $7.5 million for local mental health agencies, including Family & Children Services, the John XXIII Senior Center, the Centre for Living with Dying and the Alzheimer’s Activity Center.
