Phone number: (650) 903-6344

On Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 at around 1:30 p.m., an elderly female was the victim of a brutal attack inside her home on the 200 Block of Jardin Drive in Mountain View. Her male companion arrived at the home to discover the victim on the floor of the house and summoned Emergency Medical Services for what he assumed was a medical condition. Arriving fire units determined that the victim had been assaulted and had police personnel called to the scene. Initial investigation determined that the victim had interrupted the suspects during a burglary. The suspects strangled and beat the victim, causing severe head injuries. Some small items were taken from the residence. Witnesses saw two suspects leave the residence and provided the following description: Suspect 1 was described as a Hispanic male, 18-20 years old, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, 140 pounds, with a medium build, short brown hair and a Fu Manchu mustache. Suspect 2 was described as a Hispanic male, 16-18 years old, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, 120 pounds, with a thin build, black short hair and a blue shirt. They were seen driving a 1993-97 gray Dodge Intrepid sedan.
