Airport construction update
Short-term parking at Terminal C is scheduled to be reduced on Nov. 1. With the start of construction on roadways in front of Terminal C in November, the construction will have be in the west and north sections of the Terminal C short-term parking lot. This will significantly reduce the number of parking spaces.
Therefore, on Nov. 1, the city will begin restricting entry into the sections of the parking lot that will be closed, and it will completely close off these sections by Nov. 12. There will still be short-term parking available in the Terminal C lot, just less of it. In addition, there will still be ample short-term parking available in the Terminal A garage, and it’s very easy to catch a blue shuttle bus to get to Terminal C that runs every few minutes between the terminals.

The Almaden Business Association will hold its first second annual Texas Hold’em Benefit Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Santa Clara County Horsemen’s Association, 20350 McKean Road in Almaden.
All proceeds from the evening will support the Doris Dillon Children’s Library guest author speaker series at the Almaden Branch Library this spring.
The cost for all the fun, Texas Hold‘em and admission and food is $125 with $100 going toward the poker games and those who don’t wish to play can heckle the players. Dinner will be catered by the Sonoma Chicken Coop.
