Instead of birds and bees, this animal fair boasts dogs, cats, bunnies and gerbils
A lot of people went to the recent Animal Fair at the Willows Senior Center in Willow Glen to adopt puppies, kittens and other cuddly little creatures, like the pup pictured, left. Between 100 and 150 people came, many of whom filled out applications that may allow them to bring new pets into their homes. At right: First-graders and close friends Cheyanne Fedor, 6, and Aubrey O’Leary, 7, who attend Graystone Elementary School, are shown here with the Fedor family’s choice, a tiny—for now—German shepherd puppy to play with their Labrador retriever.
