Harvest Festival at the Almaden Community Center and Library
By Ed Koetitz

Special to the Times
On Saturday, Oct. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Almaden Com-munity Center and Library will host its first annual Harvest Festival. Join us as we celebrate local artists, tasty food and creative costumes. Pick a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, get spooked in the spine-tingling haunted house, and enjoy an entertaining story time provided by the library staff. Children are encouraged to wear a costume. Conroy Cougar, San Jose Public Library’s official mascot, will be on hand to greet everybody and distribute free book bags. This event is funded, in part, by the Friends of the Almaden Library.
