CRIME STOPPER OF THE WEEK

Attempted Kidnapping

On Sept. 13 at around 4 p.m., a 12-year-old victim was riding his bicycle near the intersection of Hamilton Avenue at Hicks Road when the suspect drove along side him. The suspect had a piece of paper in his hand as if he was looking for an address and was lost. The victim was going to offer the suspect some directions when at the same time, the suspect pointed a knife at the victim and told him to get in the car. The boy rode his bike away and was not injured. He described the car as an early 1990s boxy style, black vehicle similar to a Honda Civic. It had a red interior with primer spots and missing paint.
