PostNet Postal & Business Services has only been open for three months (in the Via Valiente Plaza at Almaden Expressway and Via Valiente next to Bistro Almaden) but they are already doing a booming business. “I'm really surprised at how well we are doing,” said the owner, Amha Habteyes. “I thought with the economy it would be tough but we have regular customers and the business is growing.”

This is the first business that Habteyes, a Santa Teresa area resident, has owned. PostNet is a franchise that specializes in faxing, copying, printing business cards and letterhead, signs and banners as well as offering post office boxes and shipping services. In addition PostNet takes passport pictures.

Conveniently located down the street from Leland High School, Habteyes is looking for extra workers during the holidays. He thinks that this would be an excellent first job for a high school junior or senior.
