Road construction ahead!

Those traveling down Almaden Expressway in Almaden in the past few days may notice road construction signs and traffic diversions. This is due to the resurfacing of the Expressway from Harry Road to Highway 85. The work started on Oct. 13 and is slated to be completed by Nov. 4, according to Edwin Chan, Supervisor Don Gage's aide.

The road work, which is funded by Measure B funds to improve all of the counties expressways, should be done during non-commute hours to offer a minimum disruption to traffic.

“It will be a lot smoother ride after it's finished!” promised Chan.
