Paralegals win Crime
Stopper award
Paralegals from the district attorney’s office, including Almaden resident Delene Waltrip, who currently assists the elder fraud and gang units of the DA’s office, were recognized at an awards ceremony held Friday, Oct. 10, by Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers for their work in assisting in the prosecution of criminals and making our neighborhoods safer. This is the first time that the paralegal team for the D.A.’s office has been recognized for their contributions in fighting crime by Crime Stoppers. District Attorney Dolores Carr and Assistant District Attorney Stephen Gibbons nominated their office’s paralegals for this award.
