Pumpkin Patch Boutique giant success
Joining the throng at the 33rd annual Pumpkin Patch Boutique last Saturday were people of all ages from all over the Bay Area. Awaiting the 10 a.m. opening, anxious bargain hunters were standing three to four deep, and it appeared that at least 500 people had been admitted before noon. All proceeds from the annual event benefit the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital for uncompensated care. Above, past president Gwen Schaeffer from Almaden Valley confers with current president Missy Ryan from Willow Glen. Below: tired shoppers rest before venturing out again. From left are Johanna Hirt and Antje Hirt, both from Almaden, Sienna Stevens, 8, from Jackson, Calif. and JoAnn Bjornstad from Willow Glen.
