Turning Wheels For Kids Bike Fest raises
$11,000
to put bikes under needy kids’ trees
The Turning Wheels For Kids org-anization raised $11,000 last Sat-urday at Amato’s Pizzeria at its Bike Fest 2006 event. More than 100 people bid on the silent auction, as their friends and family cheered them on. The crowd also enjoyed the tunes from a rock band, a car show and the great feeling that they had raised money for 100 more bikes to give to needy and special needs kids this holiday season.
