What are your thoughts about a judge giving custody of Britney Spears’ sons to ex-husband Kevin Federline? Why do you think Spears is acting the way she is? (Asked at the Almaden Library/Community Center)

“It’s a very interesting question because I don’t follow Britney Spears nor do I trust the media reports and I don’t know if I can trust what I see and hear about her. She definitely has some issues she needs to work out as a mother. She needs help.”

“Without [knowing] all the facts, it seems kind of harsh. It’s kind of hard to ignore her public persona and it seems like she could clean up if she really wanted. Substance abuse and her fame as a child play a big role in what is wrong with her. On top of that she’s fighting with everyone in her family. She has no one to support her. I’m sad for Britney.”
