What do you think of this year’s Almaden Art and Wine Festival?
(Asked at Almaden Lake Park’s 2005 Almaden Art and Wine Festival)
“It’s nice. I like it, I just moved down here three months ago. It’s fun being here with the festival along the lake, a lot nicer atmosphere than I expected. I just wish there were more food booths.”
Randy Musterer, 32

“It’s better this year than it was last year. There are a lot more vendors and a lot more variety. Last year it was kind of sparse. There’s also more variety from the vendors and my kids are having a great time.”
Georgette Silver, 51
Almaden
Medical practices consultant
“It looks pretty nice. But I don’t think the wine glass is as nice as it’s been in the past.”
Stan Hronik, 50+

“It’s OK. It’s not as good as last year because there is very little art this year.”
Julie Kenoun

“This is my first visit to the festival so I can’t compare it with last year. But it’s open and wide and you can walk around and visit the booths without bumping into people, which is very nice. I like the music and I like to watch the kids dance on the stage. I have gone to many art and wine festivals and this one is well managed, no one is out of control. It’s nice to see lots of happy people.”
Michele Boulland, 34
Almaden
Property manager for TBC
“I like it. I used to go when it was at Parma Park. I like being able to ride my bike here and the bike checks. I also like the nice long venue. There’s a lot of people here, but it’s not crowded and I love the hill [behind the park], I can see it from my bedroom window. ”
Mary Martin, 36
Almaden
Science teacher at Union Middle School
“I’m having a good time. It’s nice and mellow, just like last year. They have great music this year.”
Valerie Hotchkiss, 36
Almaden

“I like it better than last year. It’s organized a lot better. They’ve cleaned up the park a lot since last year. I like they way they set it up with the music.”
Heather Rotolo, 39
Almaden

“It’s beautiful here today. The festival is beautiful. I’ve been to the festival before and it seems that there’s more activity this year than last. I will come back.”
