Primped and pampered for a good cause
Twenty-five lucky ladies enjoyed a full day of pampering recently after buying tickets at the Holy Spirit School auction. Their enjoyment was buoyed by the fact that their day off was for a good cause: the spa day raised $20,000 for the school.

The ladies bought their tickets at the school auction held last May and the event was hosted at the home of Boots and Kristen Del Biaggio on Sunday Aug. 27. One woman, Barbara Beck, bought 10 tickets that she gave out to room moms and other hard-working volunteers at the school. The hostesses for the Spa Day were Jackie Courtney, Maya Rhodes, Mimi Qubain and Kristen Del Biaggio, who worked hard to create a day to be remembered.
The invitations were delivered personally to each woman, on a silver tray along with a rose and a glass of champagne, by a handsome young man in a tux.
A total day of pampering was offered to the 25 lucky women, who enjoyed a yoga class by Shelly Boose, massages by Nichole DeSalle of Studio G, pedicures by Los Gatos Nail Works, hair and make-up by I Do Hair Couture and a fashion show from Malouf's Boutique.
The luncheon table was decorated by Bloomsters with centerpieces and flowers and a delicious formal lunch was catered by Scott Cooper of Le Papillion.
The day did not end there for some of the women who chose to take a chauffeured-driven limousine to Straits Cafe in Santana Row for cocktails and appetizers. All in all the ladies agreed it was a great day for a great cause.
