Almaden Art and Wine Festival this Sunday at Almaden Lake Park
The Almaden Valley Women’s Club is proud to present the 32nd Annual Almaden Art & Wine Festival on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Almaden Lake Park.

Admission is free. Parking and shuttle service are free and available at the San Jose Water Company and the VTA Light Rail Station. Please join in the celebration of the last weekend of summer.
This year the festival will feature 116 arts and craft vendors, live entertainment with cheer/dance teams from local schools, hula dancing, a Kung Fu/martial arts exhibition and musical performances from Jessica Johnson, Louisiana Rain, Highway 4, Dead Posers Society and Nuthin’ Fancy. The afternoon also will offer pizza, Brazilian barbecue, kabobs, Indian fry bread, chicken salad and artichoke specialties.
There will also be fabulous wineries and a beer garden with DIRECTV. The Children’s Area has entertainment and activities for children of all ages including new special features that include a rock climbing wall, giant slide, kid friendly foods, diaper changing/nursing station, easy viewing of the main entertainment stage, 4-foot safety fence, tiny tots tumbling area (6 months to 3 years), parent parking and rest area.
The Almaden Valley Women’s Club was organized in 1965 with the purpose to stimulate interest in the social, civic and cultural improvement of the Almaden Community. The annual Almaden Art and Wine Festival has been put on by the club since 1965. The group is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization. All proceeds from the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival are used to serve the Almaden Community and those of greater San Jose and go to nonprofit organizations and local schools through scholarships and community grants.
