Fun Times Singers, a lively and diverse community choir, invites men and women to join their group. ‘The Mislabeled Child’ authors to speak at Almaden Community Center on Sept 16
Dr. Brock Eide and his wife Dr. Fernette Eide, authors of the new book “The Mislabeled Child,” will speak at the Almaden Community Center (hosted by the Friends of the Library) on Sept 16 at 2 p.m. Their book is written for parents and teachers, and it provides practical advice for helping children who struggle with a wide range of problems in school. The couple takes a specific brain-based approach to education, and the book tackles subjects like reading, writing, mathematics, and attention and memory.
