Performing Live at the Montgomery Theater - The Romantic Voices of a Golden Era. Aztlán Academy presents Azul Bohemia in Concert Three young men have united their talents and experience to continue firing up the romantic music of great Trios of México. Presented by Aztlán Academy this concert fundraiser helps support the Academy’s year-round education and performance programs. The Santa Clara Valley Water Color Society presents “Fluid Borders…where elements converge” 38th Annual Member Show at the Rose Shenson Gallery at the Triton Museum, 1505 Warburton Ave in Santa Clara. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® invites children of all ages to join the Ringling Bros. team at San Jose’s HP Pavilion in the all new 135th Edition of The Greatest Show On Earth® —the most interactive three-ring circus experience yet. The escape from the everyday begins with the Animal Open House 90 minutes before show time, inviting all ticket holders behind-the-scenes to see where the animals live, work, and play while they are in town. The All-Access Preshow begins one hour before show time when the arena floor is opened for audience members to step right up and meet clowns, dancers, animals, acrobats, and aerialists live, test their skills at performing daring circus feats, and learn how the acrobats stay CircusFit. Then, watch as Ringling Bros. newest Ringmaster, Tyron McFarlan, kicks off the action and adventure, featuring “America’s Best Clown,” Bello Nock, and more than 100 incredible human and animal performers from all over the world, a live band with original score, and intoxicatingly colorful and captivating sets, costumes, and lighting. 30th Annual Tapestry Arts Festival - What began thirty years ago as Tapestry in Talent you now know as the Tapestry Arts Festival. Come join us Labor Day Weekend from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. as we celebrate 30 years with live music, art, food, and fun. Tapestry Arts is San Jose’s oldest and largest street festival with hundreds of artists, four live music stages, and food from around the world. The event takes place at Parkside Hall & Almaden Blvd/ Park Avenue Streets. Admission is free and proceeds support arts education in the schools and the community. Hay House author Lynnette Brown will lead a workshop/discussion on “Angel Numbers” at Moonfyre Metaphysical Store, 401 East Campbell Avenue, from 1 – 3 p.m. In this class attendees will learn how Angels speak through the repetitive number sequences seen on license plates, phone numbners, clocks or other locations such as 111, 333, and 444. Sign up now for the September 15th orientation and training on September 17th and 24th. Fourteen hours of training, instructional materials, & on-going support are all provided free. Vision Literacy needs tutor volunteers to help adults build their literacy skills.
