School lists should be complete when sent out

Editor,
Once again I am disgusted by what is going on at Williams [Elementary School]! Just last week I printed out the school supply list from the Williams Web site and went to the store with my excited and eager children.

We bought all their supplies and put them in their new ROLLING backpacks! There were no warnings at the top of their school supply lists at that time. These backpacks are non-returnable. My children will be attending school with their rolling backpacks...unless someone wants to refund me my money and RIP them out of my children's hands!

The warnings were just added a few days ago. And there are no warnings at the top of the second and fifth grade lists. Why? There is no way my children can carry some of the supplies or books they must carry without wheels because we walk to and from school each day. Last-minute restrictions that seem arbitrary are just some of the issues. We still haven't heard back on the issue we had with a teacher on the last day of school. We have had no response from you about it!

Unless we see changes, we have decided not to give our usual buyout amount to Williams Wins or to give to the PTA this year. ENOUGH! We are mailing a copy of this to the school district since the school district Web site has no e-mail address. WHY?
