CRIME STOPPERS is a cooperative effort between the local media, San Jose Police Department, and a citizen Board of Directors. Once a week an unsolved police case is presented to the public. Citizens are urged to call 947-STOP if they have information on any other serious crime and remain anonymous. Rewards of up to $1,000 are offered for information leading to an arrest. You do not give your name; you are given a code number.
