CRIME STOPPER OF THE WEEK
Attempted kidnapping
SYNOPSIS: Earlier this month an attempted kidnapping occurred at 405 S. 10th St. The suspect walked into St.Pauls Methodist Church where the victim was attending a music and dance camp. The suspect walked up to the victim and grabbed her thumb with one of his hands and placed the other hand on her back, then tried to push the victim toward the door while saying, “lets go outside.” The victim struggled and managed to get free.
She ran away and notified one of the camp teachers.
Suspect is described as a white male, in his 40’s, 6 feet tall, black and gray hair.
