CRIME STOPPER OF THE WEEK

Robbery
SYNOPSIS: On May 5 at 2:19 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at a liquor store at 2672 Cropley Avenue. Two suspectss entered the store, one suspect holding a shotgun straight out from his body, and the other suspect holding a handgun by his side. The suspects pointed their guns at the two clerks and took money from the cash register. The suspects left the store eastbound on foot.

Suspect one is described as a Hispanic male in his mid 20’s, 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He had a plaid, short-sleeve shirt on, black sweat pants, a thick mustache and a San Francisco Giants cap.

Suspect two is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20’s. He is approximately 5’10” and 160 pounds. He was wearing a long sleeve Pendleton shirt and blue jeans. His hair was slicked back and he was wearing sunglasses.

They may be in a silver van.


CRIME STOPPERS is a cooperative effort between the local media, San Jose Police Department, and a citizen Board of Directors. Once a week an unsolved police case is presented to the public. Citizens are urged to call 947-STOP if they have information on any other serious crime and remain anonymous. Rewards of up to $1,000 are offered for information leading to an arrest.
