Leland seniors celebrate grad night
From the night of June 12 until 6 a.m. the next morning, Leland High School’s Class of 2008 joyfully celebrated its well-earned graduation.
After the commencement ceremony, a safe and fun-filled night awaited the grads. From the school they progressed via buses to Boomers in Livermore. Live entertainment, in-teractive amusements, all-you-can-eat food and the camaraderie of friends made for a very memorable night for all graduates.

| Enjoying everything from skee-ball to all-you-can-eat food, Leland High’s class of 2008 celebrated their graduation with a visit to Boomers in Livermore. |
A dedicated committee of parents from the Leland community spent many months organizing this once-in-a-lifetime event. A dozen additional parents volunteered their time chaperoning the all-nighter. Gener-ous family and community donors also contributed to the success of Grad Night 2008.
Thanks are owed to the more than 60 businesses that helped to make it a success. While a number of the businesses are located in Almaden, there were many that are not and the parents and students are grateful for their help. Too numerous to name, they allowed more than 400 graduates to have a fun night, and their parents to know their “former” students were safe and sound.
