The Democratic primaries end on June 3. What advice do you have for Hillary Clinton? (Asked at Almaden Plaza)
“I’m afraid that everyone is so split that the Democrats will get defeated [in November], and we need a change. I don’t know if it’s possible for her to help, but she should think of the country first and what the country needs.”
Dana Angus, 33

“She should go to McCain and ask him if she can be the vice president on his ticket, because that just might get her into the White House. Bill managed to mess up her run for president, and now she can’t win, she doesn’t have a chance. She should be looking down the road at 2012.”
Dale Waltz, 48

“My advice to her is that she not let people distract her from her goals and she should not be discouraged.”
Eva Yousif, 23

San Jose State student
“Drop out. The point is the race is pretty much over.”
Jim Vye, 55

“I’m not a Hillary fan. I think she probably wants to be as honest and as apolitical as she can. She has some good ideas, but she loses me because she comes across as insincere."
Kit Reichow, 59

Communications specialist
“She should be brilliant and honest and help Obama win.”
Jack Ross, 17

“Support the Democratic convention no matter what happens. I wish her luck, but we all are after the same goal; a better economy.”
Dell Barcellos, 30
Willow Glen

“It’s time to let the party reunite so the Democrats can take on the Republicans and have a strong fight for new leadership.”
