(Asked at Almaden Oaks Shopping Center)

“We put our flag out on the front porch. We also watched bits and pieces of the new World War II Memorial dedication on TV. On Monday, I watched the Eisenhower special on TV with Tom Selleck. We also went to church on Sunday and the last song of the service was ‘Let There Be Peace on Earth,’ which was nice.”

“We don’t usually go too far on the weekend; it’s too crowded. Saturday I worked in the yard pretty much all day. On Sunday I went to a barbecue all afternoon and didn’t get home until evening. We also played progressive rummy.”

“I work at Jamba Juice and basically I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday making sure everyone had nice, cool refreshments for the hot weekend. Saturday especially was non-stop smoothie making! On Monday, the Crossgates pool where my friends work had a barbecue, so I hung out there and went swimming.”
