Holy Spirit Parish Cub Scouts receive Diocesan Award

Once a year the Diocese of San Jose recognizes Catholic youth and adults who have achieved religious awards through Girl Scouts, Camp Fire Boys, and Girls and Boy Scouts. This year’s recognition ceremony and prayer service was held March 28 at St. Joseph Cathedral/Basilica with Bishop Patrick J. McGrath presiding.

The Webelos Cub Scout Pack 229 of Holy Spirit Parish received the Parvuli Dei award. The winners were Holy Spirit School fourth graders Daniel Hansen, Mason DeWitt, Drew Willner, Mathew Foster, and Nicholas Young who is in third grade. The Cub Scouts also attend Holy Spirit School.
