Crime Stopper: Homicide
On May 23, 2004 at 11:15 p.m., San Jose Police officers responded on call of shots fired in the 1600 block of Tierra Buena Avenue. On arrival, officers located an unconscious male lying in the roadway near Enesco Aida avenues. He had been shot multiple times in the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was riding his bicycle in the area when some unidentified males drove up in a vehicle. One of the two suspects yelled something at the male and then fired multiple rounds at the victim. The suspects fled in a vehicle described only as a dark pickup truck with construction rails in the truck bed.
Anyone with any information on this case is urged to call detective Sgts. Zarate or Millard of the San Jose Police Department Homicide Unit at 277-5283. Persons wishing to remain anonymous may call 947-STOP (947-7867).
