On May 4, 2004 at 9:30 p.m., an armed takeover robbery occurred at the Anchor Blue clothing store in the Oakridge shopping mall located at 925 Blossom Hill Road. Three suspects entered the store, and one of the suspects pulled a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the two male employees. The suspects led the employees to the office in the back of the store. The suspects took money from the safe and registers. All three suspects were described as black males in their mid 20s, 5-feet, 7 inches to 6-feet, 1 inches tall and weighing 180 to 220 pounds. One suspect was wearing a dark blue San Diego Chargers cap.

CRIME STOPPERS is a cooperative effort between the local media, San Jose Police Department, and a citizen board of directors. Once a week, an unsolved police case is presented to the public. Citizens are urged to call 947-STOP if they have information on any other serious crime and remain anonymous. Rewards of up to $1,000 are offered for information leading to an arrest. You do not give your name, you are given a code number.
