The Almaden Times Weekly celebrates its 20th anniversary this week. What do you like best and least
about the paper?

(Asked at Almaden Center)

“I read it whenever I get it. I love to read it. I like it because it has local articles and I [often] get to read about someone I know. They even had an article about my daughter once; it was the one about the personal ponies. The only thing I don't like is that there may be too many ads.”

Michelle Martinez, 38

“I don't get to read it regularly every time it comes out, but when I do I like the local news and how it gives the flavor of what's going on in Almaden.”

John Hughmanick, 49

“I do read it a lot to see what's happening in sports and in school scenes. I like how it interacts with everything in Almaden and doesn't leave anything out.”

Kelly Estrella, 15

“Yes, I do read it. I like the articles on students, {such as} school scenes and sports. There's nothing I really dislike, but there are a lot of ads.”

"I look at the pictures and school scenes and sports. I can't think of anything bad about it."

Rosie Youhana, 17

"Oh yes, I definitely read it regularly. I always like looking at all the open houses and the crime blotter, but I will forever miss Kymberli Brady. I love everything about the paper. I can't even think about one bad thing about it."
