Police Alert
Female students complain to police about suspicious man attempting to make contact with them around
local schools, Princeton Plaza and DeAnza Park
Students and parents from Dartmouth Middle School have reported recent incidences to police of a strange male loitering in the area and attempting to make contact with female students. He has also been seen at Princeton Plaza and DeAnza Park attempting to talk to female students after school.
Each time he was in his car which is described as a new Black or Grey BMW with paper plates.
A few days after these reports, a female student at Ida Price Middle School also reported being confronted by a man in a new Black BMW with paper plates. He had initially asked for directions, but then made lewd comments to the victim.
The suspect is described as an Eastern Indian male, approximately 40 years old, with a beard who also appeared to have bad acne scaring.

New Almaden Quicksilver Park Wildflower Walk scheduled April 30
The well anticipated third annual New Almaden Quicksilver Park Wildflower Walk is scheduled for Sunday, April 30 from 10a.m. to 1p.m. Rainy weather delayed the previously scheduled event. ABA's “Meet the Candidates Morning Networking Meeting” to be held May 4
Candidates for the Mayor of San Jose will be featured in an interactive event at next Thursday’s Almaden Business Association meeting. What was previously billed as a candidate forum has been changed due to the inability of two candidates, Cindy Chavez and Chuck Reed to attend the event.
The meeting will also be held at a new venue, Amato Pizzeria, and will offer networking opportunities and a chance to personally “meet and greet” three of the major candidates for the mayor of San Jose. Candidates who have confirmed their attendance to date include: Dave Cortese, Michael Mulcahy, and David Pandori. There will be a short introductory presentation by each candidate, with time for informal and interactive networking to meet and greet the candidates personally.
The meeting will take place Thursday, May 4, 2006 - from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Amato Pizzeria Restaurant, located at 6081 Meridian Avenue, Suite #60, San Jose, CA 95120 (at the corner of Redmond and Meridian Avenues, between Citibank and Albertson’s.)
