HE'S OVER THE HILL Shawn Flanagan, who founded his production company Almaden Films as a teenager nearly three decades ago in Almaden Valley, will have his latest film, a philosophical thriller titled "The Unwilling," appear in the Santa Cruz Film Festival at the Rio Theater on Saturday, April 28, at 1 p.m. Co-producing with Anthony Santucci of San Jose, Flanagan, who has appeared as an extra in numerous Hollywood films, hopes to continue his own string of success stories as a film maker, which includes numerous appearances in San Jose's Cinequest Film Festival and the "Low Budget Genius Award" in Wisconsin's Silver Street Film Festival in 2001.
