Cannons fired in South San Jose!
St. Stephen's School hosts Civil War Reenactment
St. Stephen's School's fifth grade class hosted a Civil War reenactment last week much to the delight of the students and staff. In addition to learning about the life of a soldier at that time, the students were given the opportunity to fire a cannon on the school grounds.
Mrs. Ronnie Gruhn's fifth grade class has spent several weeks learning to march correctly with two local service men. They spent the day in the field at the back of the school living the life of a Union Soldier.
Established in 1978, St. Stephen's Episcopal School offers classes ranging from preschool through eighth grade. |
