Celebrating dance

Fry’s Electronics hosted a pre-ballet dinner for 200 guests in the lobby of the River Park Towers on April 1. Paolo’s Restaurant catered the event with a Japanese-inspired menu to celebrate the addition of Michael Smuin’s SHINJU to Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley’s repertoire.

Ballet lovers, from left, are Leonard Sabatini, Paige Filomeo, Dave Filomeo and Henrieta Sabatini. Dave Filomeo is a member of the Ballet Operating Board and is vice president/deputy of human resources at Lockheed Martin Space Systems.
