The wine-tasting event featured appetizers from Elements Restaurant and live music by classical guitarist Arturo Ville, as well as networking between personnel from Almaden Valley companies and the San Jose Silicon Valley
Chamber of Commerce.

Since its inception in 2003, the Almaden Business Association (ABA) has continued to increase its membership and contribute to the community. This year, they will participate once again in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life on May 20 to 21. In January, the ABA received a commendation and plaque for outstanding service to the community from the San Jose City Council. Among its achievements was raising $30,000 for the Children’s Storytime area of the newly rebuilt Almaden Branch Library and Community Center.

The next ABA meeting is at 8 a.m. on May 4 at South Hills Community Church, 6601 Camden Ave., and will feature San Jose mayoral candidates in an interactive political forum. The event is open to the public as a community service. For more information, visit: www.almadenbizassn.org.

Realtor Maryann Pearson chats with Quicksilver Concierge owner Susan Latin. ABA members and potential members network during the mixer.
