Baby and Child Portrait Contest could mean prizes for your munchkin

Local photographers invite you to schedule an appointment before May 31 so you can enter your child's portrait in Miller's Professional Imaging's Baby and Child Portrait Contest. Portraits must be taken by participating studios between Jan. 1 and May 31, 2004 to qualify.

The first place winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize. The second place winner will be awarded a $2,000 cash prize. The third place winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize.

Judging will take place in July and the winners will be announced no later than July 31, 2004. The winning portraits will be selected by a panel of judges comprised of professional photographers with a background in children's photography.

With the hectic schedules that everyone keeps these days, it is more important than ever to document how your child is growing and changing. Plus, there are some great prizes to be won! Who couldn't use $5,000 cash! What more encouragement do you need!

Images of children, infants through age 12 are eligible for entry. There will be four judging categories this year: color, black and white/sepia, humorous and kids with special needs.
